.Today we have bigger houses and smaller families; more convenience but less time. .We have more Degrees but less common sense; more knowledge but less judgment. .We have more experts but more problems; more medicine but less wellness. .We spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry too quickly, stay up too late, read too little, watch Tv too much and Pray too seldom. .We multiply our Possessions but reduce our values; we talk too much, love too little and lie too often. .We’ve learned how to make living, but not a life; we’ve added years to life not life to years. .We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways but narrower viewpoint. .We spend more, but have less; we buy more, enjoy less. .We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet our neighbor. .We’ve conquer outer space, but not inner space. .We split the atoms, but not our prejudice .We write more, learn less; plan more but accomplish less; we’ve learned to rush but not to wait; we have higher income but lower morals. .We build more computers to hold more info, to produce more copies but have less communications. .We’re long on quantity but short on Quality. .These are the time for Fast food and slow digestion; tall men and short characters. .More leisure but less fun; more kinds of food but less nutrition; two income but many divorces, fancier houses but broken homes.
Changamoto Yetu Blog is an avenue for finding solutions rather than just reporting. It is a blog for the person who chooses to think more about solutions and dares to think right. It is for readers who believe they are a part of the problem, just as they are a part of the solution; for those who can see things from another perspective and think twice about problems that our societies are facing. Changamotoyetu Blog is for people who believe that ‘THE WAY YOU SEE THE PROBLEM IS THE PROBLEM’. A Positive, Self Discovery, Awakening and Society-Oriented tool that helps us to reflect on ourselves and realize that we are all as much a part of every problem as we are a part of the solution. The blog has 31 labels / CATEGORIES that look deep into problems from a societal angle and help readers realize that we have to change ourselves before we can think of changing someone else.
