Meli tatu za kuokoa maisha Haiti

Mwisho wa wiki hii hatutakuwa na kipengele chetu cha WALIWAZA NINI, bali naendelea kuwawaza ndugu wa Haiti. Na sasa nilipokuwa napitia shughuli za uokozi, nikakutana na hii ya meli hizi tatu kubwa ambazo zitashughulikia uokozi na ukarabati huko Haiti.

Imeshawasili nchini Haiti na itatumika kama kiwanja cha ndege kwa helikopta 19 ilizobeba ambazo zitatumika kusambaza msaada. One of the largest ships in the American fleet, the Vinson also carries equipment capable of purifying large quantities of water and has extensive medical facilities, including two surgical rooms and dozens of hospital beds. It will be used to treat wounded Haitians until the Bataan and the Comfort arrive next week.
