Remembering Robert Nesta Marley

"The first thing you must know about me is that I always stand what I stand for. GOOD? The second thing you must know about yourself listening to me is that words are tricky. So when you know what me a stand for, when me explain a thing to you, you must never try to look 'pon it in a different way from what me a stand for."
Aliimba wimbo aliouita Real Situation uliohusu wanyang'anyi wa mali za watu wanaoamini kuwa "the total destruction is the only solution" na tunaona yatokeayo ulimwenguni sasa. Katika wimbo huo huo alisema "Give them an inch, they take a yard; Give them a yard, they take a mile" akiwaeleza wale ambao wakipata kisa cha kuingia nchini mwako hawatoki na kila siku watakuwa na sababu ya kuendelea kuwepo kuinyonya nchi. Ndio tuonayo leo.
Bob aliweka bayana katika wimbo wake wa AFRICA UNITE kuwa kuna umuhimu na ulazima wa kuungana kikweli kwani twahitaji ku"Unite for the benefit of your children, Unite for it’s later than you think".
Katika wimbo wake wa WAR, Bob aliimba akisema "Until the philosophy which hold one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned everywhere is war,....That until there are no longer first class and second class citizens of any nation.."
Anasema "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds...". Na hili ndilo tatizo kwa wananchi wengi nchini mwetu ambapo tunalalamika kuhusu MAENDELEO japo HATUSHIRIKI kuyaleta (iwe kwa kuweka viongozi sahihi ama kuchagua wale walio tayari kutushirikisha kuyatafuta) Tunataka yule anayesema ATALETA MAENDELEO japo hakuna ukweli wa maendeleo halisi bila ushiriki wa wananchi husika.
Kwa wale waliokata tamaa na kufungwa na msongo wa maisha kutokana na kuwaza wasiyo na suluhisho nayo, Bob Marley anasemawakumbusha kuwa "Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts; put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!"
Alinukuliwa akisema "My music will go on forever. Maybe it's a fool say that, but when me know facts me can say facts. My music will go on forever."
ONE LOVE TO YOU ALL AND LET US (PEOPLE) GET READY

R.I.P Nesta!

I wish I was born before he died but big up to everyone who kept his work alive so children like us will get a chance to know him even a little bit. I think/believe this proves that what he said, quoting from the quote you quoted (lol!) "My music will go on forever. Maybe it's a fool say that, but when me know facts me can say facts. My music will go on forever."

Long live his music and "MISSION"
